Info
For Sale 1963 Plymouth Sport Fury, California
$6750.
Let's get started. Back in 2005 I bought this car with the
intentions of putting a new interior in it, getting the body
work done and having it painted. Was also thinking about
putting a stroker motor in it for power. Needless to say that
didn't happen. Need to sell so I can finish my Road Runner.
Now what I know about the car. It appears to have
been a California car all it's life. It still has
black license plates from 1963 issue. The previous
owner removed the paint and attempted to straighten
out the left (driver's side) quarter. It might need
to be replaced. It appears to have most of the
trim, it's missing the trunk trim and Sport Fury
names. But I'm not so sure. Remember I haven't done
anything to it since I've had it. The engine which
is a 1977 440ci was only started once to get from
the street to the driveway, kind of leaks too. And to
be honest, don't even know if the engine is rebuildable.
The car came from the factory black in color. It came
with a 361ci. It has a pushbutton Torqueflite. It also
has new headers on it. It has disc brakes on the front
but don't know what vintage they are. And the Cragars
have been removed and replaced with 15" steel rims.
I have the clear title for it and the car will need to
be trailered or towed. Wife wants the garage back. Email
with any questions.
Disclaimer:
The background and images of restored Fury's are for
example purposes only. With a lot of money that is what
this car can be, lol...
